Base this trip at Silent Lake near Bancroft, with a separate driving day to Haliburton. Reserve accommodation and check drive times before booking. Choose water activities suited to your experience and the weather.

  1. Day 1Arrive at your reserved campsite or accommodation and explore the park on foot. If conditions and your experience allow, arrange a short paddle from an approved launch. Wind can make this motor-free lake rough.
  2. Day 2Drive to Haliburton village for the Sculpture Forest and Head Lake Park. Check opening and trail conditions and leave time for lunch in town.
  3. Day 3Enjoy another park walk or a booked activity before checking out. Let the weather determine whether a final paddle is appropriate.
