The Trent-Severn is the spine of this trip, and the lock-side towns are the stops. Lock schedules vary through the season, so check timing before you plan to watch a boat go through.
- Day 1Start at the Peterborough Lift Lock, then follow the canal north through Lakefield and on to Bobcaygeon for the evening.
- Day 2Continue to Fenelon Falls, where the locks sit in the middle of the village, and return through Buckhorn.
