North Shore Rugged Trail
A rough footpath along the granite north shore of Parry Sound harbour, with long views back over the town and the islands.
The trail follows the pink granite shoreline, climbing over bare rock and through scrubby pine. Footing is uneven and a few sections are steep, so it suits confident walkers. The town and the harbour islands open up below for much of the route, and the trail can be walked in sections using the roads that meet it.
