The Town of Gravenhurst has set the 2027 Winter Carnival for February 12 to 14, over the Family Day weekend. Skokie the otter, the carnival's mascot, turns 57 in 2027 and celebrates with a birthday party on the Friday. Skating, snowshoeing and family activities run around the town's parks and waterfront, and ice and snow conditions decide some of the programme, so check the town's carnival page for the schedule closer to the date.
